Welcome to CIRPA DMDS

DMDS is an easy to use digital file transfer system expressly developed to bring the process of music delivery to radio into the 21st century.

DMDS uses the power of the Internet to deliver broadcast quality music tracks, together with related promo information, directly to radio programmers? desktops anywhere - quickly, securely, and hassle free.

DMDS streamlines the music selection process, making it possible for programmers to quickly and easily preview and manage new releases online and then download them to automation system hard drives.

DMDS secures the delivery of music tracks from record companies to radio with a patented, revolutionary biometric password system that accurately tracks and verifies delivery to specified individuals and watermarks tracks with details of those individuals.

Just as e-mail largely eliminated the need for physical delivery of printed documents through digital distribution, DMDS does the same for music delivery to radio.

DMDS is already widely used by most multinational record companies to deliver their new releases to radio across Canada. CIRPA is pleased to be able to offer Canada?s independent music community access to this service and have their tracks delivered to programmers? computer desktops right along side of those of the majors.

How CIRPA DMDS works:
Customers access DMDS by completing template pages on which company and track information is entered and delivery destinations chosen from an extensive music industry menu that continues to expand beyond radio to include press, agents, promoters, consultants, etc.

On completion, the page automatically calculates the total cost of the track deliveries and relevant taxes. Shortly thereafter, the customer automatically receives a confirming email listing track name, delivery destinations and total cost.

Customers then send a CD copy of the track, together with two pieces of artwork in digital (500kb each max) to CIRPA. These elements are combined on a track page that can then be accessed for preview and download by recipients at the designated destinations.

Recipients receive email notification that new tracks are available to them. They then logon to the DMDS site and access the tracks that have been sent to them.

Tracks are kept on the DMDS server and available for download for an initial period of three months following track upload.

During the initial period, upon request customers can receive weekly emailed reports for each track, giving a total aggregate list of preview, download and destination information.

CIRPA DMDS works on a weekly cycle. Music, graphics and promo information received by CIRPA by Wednesday of each week will be available to recipients the following Monday morning at 9 AM Eastern Time.

VISA is the only form of payment accepted for DMDS services by CIRPA.

Because of security concerns regarding credit card transactions it will be necessary for customers to register your credit card information by calling CIRPA each time you use the system.
